   Loving your humorous summaries of Rolando Furioso!! I just finished Volume II, but didn’t take notes or summaries as I read, and thought I’d look for summaries on the web. Not much! Until I find yours. I’m summarizing your summaries (But not trying to match your cleverness!) just as a way to jog my memory and relive the reading. I read Part One a year ago, and did take a few notes and summaries on that. But I’m enjoying your summaries so much I hope to go back and read what you have on Part One. I don’t know yet if you summarized all of Part Two. Hope so.

   Also, like that you said something about writing while in the Sonoran Desert? I’m a bit of a desert rat, too.

   Anyway, nice to know there’s somebody out there that appears to have enjoyed Orlando Furioso as much as I did! And, better than me, created these marvelous summaries1

     Hi Dan,
     I’m happy to hear you’re enjoying the Orlando write-ups. I did both volumes and finished it early last year. I loved the books. Like you mentioned I wrote the summaries to have a record to jog my own memory.

     It’s been a long time since last I was in a desert. Nowadays I’m mostly a coastal beach rat.
